I’m a Child of God. The blessing that comes along with that is, the world can be in chaos and destruction-yet my soul resonates with the deep peace that passes all understanding.
When anxiety and fear arises, fleeing to the Word of God. Satan wants me to be a basket case of emotions. The love of Christ embraces, protects, and comforts.

Lord, we get so caught up in the craziness and turmoil of this fallen world. Father-Bring with in us a sense of peace and calm.

Help us look to You for guidance and wisdom. We are incredibly thankful for Your blood shed upon the Cross. Living to bring You honor and glory. In Jesus name, Amen

Lord, even when I can’t find the words to pray. You know the depths of my heart. Though storms and trials threaten to bring chaos and despair…. You never leave nor forsake me! This world and it’s wickedness won’t last forever.

My never- ending hope lies in Your Word and Your promises. Father, I long to see You face to face. Until that amazing and glorious day, telling the lost of Your Sacrifice. Resurrection. Redemption. Salvation. Forgiveness. Mercy. Grace.

Romans 8:26-27 ~ Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

And He that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because He maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

Life of a Christian

He tells the sun to rise, and stars to shine. The most intricate details of your life He knows.

That heavy burden crushing your soul right now, cast it upon His shoulders. Do we praise Christ daily for His unfailing love, mercy and grace?

Are our minds renewed by His Holy Word, or just words read and forgotten? Can the world see fruits of the Spirit in our words and actions?

Psalm 147:1-11 ~ Praise ye the Lord: for it is good to sing praises unto our God; for it is pleasant; and praise is comely.

The Lord doth build up Jerusalem: he gathereth together the outcasts of Israel.

He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.

He telleth the number of the stars; he calleth them all by their names.

Great is our Lord, and of great power: his understanding is infinite.

The Lord lifteth up the meek: he casteth the wicked down to the ground.

Sing unto the Lord with thanksgiving; sing praise upon the harp unto our God:

Who covereth the heaven with clouds, who prepareth rain for the earth, who maketh grass to grow upon the mountains.

He giveth to the beast his food, and to the young ravens which cry.

He delighteth not in the strength of the horse: he taketh not pleasure in the legs of a man.

The Lord taketh pleasure in them that fear him, in those that hope in his mercy.

Transformed by God

Through brokenness, comes salvation of your soul. When a person wholly surrenders to God, the Holy Spirit transforms them from the inside out.

Ten years ago I was admitted into a mental hospital for postpartum depression and psychosis. The world was a deep, dark scary place for me.

God convicted my soul of the wretched sinfulness. I’d ran away from my insecurities, burdens and fears for the last time.

That night in the hospital was life changing. Lay awake in bed thinking, alone with these strange people…was not where I wanted to be.

Yet the Lord used a lady ( my room mate at the hospital ) to encourage and reassure me of this.. It’s the Lord who holds me in the palm of His hand. The Shepherd watches closely over HIS sheep.

A sense of being loved, at peace, having security, and being a Child of the All Mighty King flooded my soul. I’d never take back a moment leading up to that night. They led me to my Savior’s arms for Eternity.

We feed our bodies with food. It gives us strength and energy. More importantly, we must daily nourish our souls with God’s Word. It convicts, comforts, encourages, and edifies.

Jeremiah 15:16 ~ Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and Thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by Thy name, O LORD God of hosts.

Surviving a crisis

The Truth is…without Jesus I crumble and fall apart! The flesh makes us think, we can do it all on our own. The past few weeks, my emotions are all over the place. That’s what a life changing crisis does to a person.

It’s more now then ever, God’s Word is a healing balm to my soul. On my knees in prayer, life takes on a completely different perspective.
Things that once mattered, don’t seem to anymore.

The most important IS sharing the Gospel with the lonely, hopeless, weary, grieving, heartbroken, sorrow filled, people in the world.

Isaiah 40:8 ~ The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever.
Matthew 6:34 ~ Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day isthe evil thereof.
